"This was a quick stop for food and drink on the way home very late at night (so no idea what the place is like during the day time). We did click and collect and we didnt have to wait too long for our order to arrive at the counter. Food was hot and pretty much what you'd expect from McDonalds. Toilet facilities pretty minimal but they were clean and tidy. We didnt eat in but there was seating ground floor and there is an upper floor. Good sized car park, plenty of bins (some of which needed emptying) and next to a petrol station. Good access to the A12 and the park & ride and Community Stadium are in the same area."

"Travel to Norwich quite a lot and this McDonald's is the perfect stop off point. One of the cleanest McDonald's I've been to. Update, it's been refitted and I think it's even better. Pat and Rosie, they make the visit an absolute joy. Thank you."

"Service is efficient and friendly. Food is what you'd expect - good value if you order the right things but slightly overpriced on others. It's a hit and miss with chain restaurants, but this time it was a reasonable experience. At least this time the food wasn't cold. Good for kids. It was busy and luckily a family told us they were about to leave, as we had a baby with us, so we didn't have to wait too long for a table. Need more seating."

"Out of the 3 McDonald's in Colchester I think this one stands out due to having a bigger play area for kids to play and also massive outdoor and indoor sitting area, the speed of staff is also good I ordered and got the food within less than 10 minutes. Food was good as always. I did use the McDonald's app at till while Ordering as well so it accepted it okay. The parking is for 90 minutes only and is for McDonald's customers only so that should be noted."
